Our Way
Arriving to Australia and getting into wine in his late 20s, Alon was influenced by old world wines that showed regional character, complexity and an affinity to food.
This early introduction to wine has underpinned our philosophy at Bella Ridge to produce interesting, flavoursome and characterful wines that are complex, balanced and very drinkable.
We focus on varieties that are well suited to our region and release our wines with bottle age. Our wines are proudly non-commercial in style and particularly lend themselves to food which is why you can find them served at many of Australia’s top-end restaurants.

As a small, family producer we are very ‘hands on’ in our business, the vineyard and winery. We hand pick our fruit, crush and process our grapes and bottle and label our wines at our in-house winery. Our winemaking style in contrast is mostly 'hands off' - natural wild ferments (no added commercial/cultured yeasts), hand plunging and no fining. Each wine is an extension of our vineyard reflecting our great quality fruit and the respective growing conditions of that season.
Bella Ridge wines are vegan friendly and certified.
